Senior Event & Field Marketing Manager

We are seeking an Event & Field Marketing Manager to support our PLGTM conference series as well as Inflection.io branded activities.

Our insight is that marketing automation needs to be able support both the prospect funnel as well as the expansion / product funnel. In addition to Inflection.io, we are also the founders of PLGTM.com. PLGTM provides community, content, and conversations on the GTM side of product-led growth (PLG). About the role

You will be spearheading Inflection.io and PLGTM events and field marketing. You will primarily be owning PLGTM-branded events, including Inflection.io’s component at these events, with a major emphasis on our Summit event. The last Summit was hosted in April 2024 and you can see reactions here here here here here here here here here here here here here here here here here.

Responsibilities include

• Owning end-to-end PLGTM Summit, a multi-day event in San Francisco with hundreds of attendees
• Owning end-to-end PLGTM exec roadshows and dinners, which are ½ day events spanning US and eventually the world
• Owning Inflection.io component at these events and other 3rd party events, including (and particularly) sales dinners, happy hours, booth sponsorships, etc.
• Other responsibilities that may arise

Ideal candidates

• Have owned a technology / SaaS event end-to-end with a minimum of 200 attendees across an entire day. Badges, agenda, vendors, AV, logistics….
• Believe no work is beneath them. They will do what it takes to execute a flawless event. For example, they will pick up trash at events (I’ll be right alongside you doing this too).
• Work with a significant and sufficient amount of PDT overlapping hours. Many events we run or attend are located in California and require coordinating with California-based vendors. Your immediate manager will be located in EDT timezone and at a minimum you need 4 hours/day overlap with EDT.
• Have a passport and B-1 or similar visa for traveling to the US for onsite execution of the events.
• Are incredibly detail oriented, no/low ego, driven to succeed, and not satisfied with average or OK level work.

Qualifications

• Have owned a technology / SaaS event end-to-end with a minimum of 200 attendees 
• Bangalore based
• Have a passport and visa be willing to travel for executing the events, including the US
• Understand this is a startup and job duties will change from time to time, there is little support - YOU are the owner - and the quality bar is very high
